We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose. For those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers. And those He predestined, He also called; and those He called, He also justified; and those He justified, He also glorified.
—Romans 8:28-30; HCSB
God promised that He would rescue the Israelite people from the power of the Egyptians and would bring them to a good land. (See Exodus 3:8.)
Had God redeemed them from Egypt, but not given them entry into the Promised Land, then His promise would not have been complete.
The same God who rescued them from Egypt did also bring them to Canaan land. After bringing them across the Jordan river into that land, God said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the disgrace of Egypt from you.” (See Joshua 5:9.)
So it is that the God who gave us new life (John 3:3) and justified us in Jesus Christ (Acts 13:39) is the same God who continues to sanctify us through the Holy Spirit (2 Thessalonians 2:13) and will glorify us with Christ (Romans 5:10).
